Mughal emperors from Babur to Akbar are considered to be quite religious and efficient rulers but Shah Jahan, the heir of the same Mughalia Sultanate, is considered a ruler with luxuriant and perverted sexual desires, in addition to the thirteen wives of Shah Jahan who had 8000 women in his harem. Along with that he used to indulge according to his wishes. Shah Jahan was so infamous for his sexuality, that many historians blame him for having a sexual relationship with his real daughter Jahanara. Jahanara was 17 when Mumtaz Mahal died. She resembled Mumtaz Mahal remarkably. As per historians and European travelers, she was very beautiful, sensuous and had an attractive figure. That is why after the death of Mumtaz, Shah Jahan started indulging by trapping his daughter Jahanara. He did not let her daughter get married to anyone. He came with a wonderful excuse and quote of the millennium: “Why must a gardener not enjoy the fruits of the plant he has planted!”. Francois Bernier wrote, ” Shah Jahan used to have regular sex with his eldest daughter Jahan Ara. To defend himself, Shah Jahan used to say that, it was the privilege of a planter to taste the fruit of the tree he had planted.” Akbar made this rule that the daughters of the Mughal dynasty would not marry. The result was that the girls of the Mughal dynasty illegally resorted to courtiers, servants as well as relatives and relatives even to satisfy their physical needs. When she was having sexual intercourse, Shah Jahan suddenly came into her room, fearing that the servant hid in the harem oven, Shah Jahan set fire to the oven and burnt him alive. Shah Jahan, with the help of Jahanara, raped Mumtaz’s brother Shaista Khan’s wife several times. The 13-year-old Brahmin girl of Shah Jahan’s royal astrologer was called to his palace by Jahanara and drugged and surrendered to the father, causing Shah Jahan to marry the 13-year-old Brahmin girl in the 58th year of his age. Later, the same Brahmin girl put acid on her face in her own hands to avoid Aurangzeb after Shah Jahan’s imprisonment. Shah Jahan died in Agra Fort on 22 January 1666. According to The History Channel, Shah Jahan’s death was due to consuming highly addictive drugs. The Taj Mahal was originally a vedic temple. The term Taj Mahal is a corrupt form of the sanskrit term TejoMahalay signifying a Shiva Temple which was built by Maharaja Jai Singh. The Taj Mahal in reality is Tejo Mahalay.
