It's definitely happened to you at some point or another: You're talking to this guy and he's everything you've ever wanted in a boyfriend and you'd do anything — ANYTHING — to make him yours... and then he does something that is such a turn off that not even his glorious, Greek god looks can save him in your eyes. 1. When he has bad breath. Come on now. Eww.

2. When he's rude to your family. You might complain about your parents all the time, but like, it's only OK when you say it.

4. Being aggressive/bossy. A guy who's helpful in a stressful situation, like when you're working on a hard project or trying to build the desk your parents bought you, is a keeper. But when a guy thinks he knows best and it's his way or the highway — that makes us throw up in our mouths a little.

5. When he's constantly negative. Can you not ruin my day with every word you utter, please?

6. Or when he acts like he doesn't care about anything. Oh, look at you, Mr. Aloof. You're so ~cooooool~. NOT.

7. When he constantly tries to one up everyone around him. You know that guy, right? The one who has to follow up any story ever with one of his own that's a million times cooler? Like that time he lifted a car with his bare hands?

Calling an ex a slut, or crazy, or blaming her for whatever caused your relationship to end constantly not only makes you look totally bitter, but it also says you'll potentially be saying the same thing about about us in a few months. Pass. 11. When he's immature. Being funny is amazing, but when your jokes constantly revolve around sex, girls' bodies, or poop... this is what you look like ↓↓↓. So stop. Please. STAAAAAHP.

12. Bragging about money. "On the weekend, I work at my dad's friend's farm and he pays me, like, $300 every time." —Actual words spoken by a boy who could have been really hot if he wasn't always bragging about his dad's friend's farm. 13. Cockiness. Confidence is key, but cockiness makes us want to run for the hills.

14. When he won't put down his cell phone. A guy who's constantly on his phone around you is either, A) not capable of holding a proper conversation, or B) telling you you're not interesting. It's basically a huuuuuge NOPE. 15. Weird facial hair. A nice 5 o'clock shadow or even a well groomed beard can be super hot, but when your sideburns make you look like Shakespeare reincarnated... No.

16. When he gets upset because you beat him at something. Playing any type of game with a guy should be fun (and sometimes flirty), but if he's so obsessed with winning that he starts taking the game too seriously, or gets angry that you — a girl *GASP* — beat him, it's a total turn off. 17. When he's obsessed with working out. Staying fit is super cute. Working out is also cute. But when you're constantly busy working out at the gym — and talking about the gym when you're not there — it makes us so bored we want to fall asleep. Most of the offenses on this list are usually side effects of just being plain old insecure. At the end of the day, absolutely nothing is hotter than a guy who's confident in himself. If he can drop the act and just be his confident, hot self, he's pretty much in business!
