Karma has no timeline and it's not always negative. Follow these five steps to stop wishing bad karma on those who have hurt you. "How beautiful it is to stay silent when someone expects you to be enraged" - Kushandwizdom Karma is a Sanskrit word that denotes the cycle of cause and effect, meaning each action a person takes in life will affect him or her at some point in the future. This rule also applies to a person’s thoughts and words. You have so much power in your life to create good and bad experiences. Most individuals have made poor choices at the expense of someone else's feelings that they've later regretted. Sometimes our own needs get in the way of what we know in our hearts is the right thing to do. The Universe will bring back whatever acts you committed or feeling you caused in another person. This karmic boomerang helps teach you how your actions impact others and to be more compassionate.

Instead of hoping the offensive person gets their karmic due, try to shift your thoughts to a more compassionate view. What would you want someone to wish for you?

Follow these five steps to give yourself a karmic cleanse.

Be grateful : for every experience, both the good and the bad.

: for every experience, both the good and the bad. Act with love : towards everyone no matter what they’ve done. : towards everyone no matter what they’ve done. Check your motives : and make sure they come from a place of love for self and others. : and make sure they come from a place of love for self and others. Watch your attitude : because negative thoughts create angry energy directed at you. : because negative thoughts create angry energy directed at you. Forgive: It can be the hardest thing to do, but the most important in creating great karma. The next time a friend, stranger, or family member says or does something mean to you or others, tell yourself to send them love and light. Remember, that most individuals behave badly when they’re under stress, or are struggling with circumstances in their own lives. It’s not you; it’s them. It’s always about them. It works the same when you’re the person throwing the negativity around. It’s about you, not them. You have to own that. Some amazing and positive developments will happen to you when you stop wishing bad karma onto the people who have hurt you. It worked for me. My writing career began to flourish and my relationship with my kids improved because I wasn’t being so hard on myself. Generosity and abundance started to pour in. If you’re a generous person who’s having a streak of bad luck, the Universe is not punishing you. Karma has no timeline. It ebbs and flows and not on our schedule. But it does come around. “Don’t get mad. Don’t get even. Do better. Much better. Rise above. Become so engulfed in your own success that you forget it ever happened.” – Donald Driver

What genes are inherited from mother only?

Unlike nuclear DNA, which comes from both parents, mitochondrial DNA comes only from the mother.

For a long time, biologists thought our DNA resided only in the control center of our cells, the nucleus. Then, in 1963, a couple at Stockholm University discovered DNA outside the nucleus. Looking through an electron microscope, Margit and Sylvan Nass noticed DNA fibers in structures called mitochondria, the energy centers of our cells. Our mitochondrial DNA accounts for a small portion of our total DNA. It contains just 37 of the 20,000 to 25,000 protein-coding genes in our body. But it is notably distinct from DNA in the nucleus. Unlike nuclear DNA, which comes from both parents, mitochondrial DNA comes only from the mother. Nobody fully understands why or how fathers’ mitochondrial DNA gets wiped from cells. An international team of scientists recently studied mitochondria in the sperm of a roundworm called C. elegans to find answers.
