They regard a girl as a burden on the family. They practice feticide/ infanticide or never let their girl child get education. She becomes the sacrificial goat in the family who has to let go of all her dreams and desires or for that matter even basic rights to fulfill the aspirations of the family. Such sections of the society need to be educated on the matter of importance of women in men’s life and in the society too. It is the ideology and thought process that needs to be changed only then can the situation for women will become better.
