As Jesus one day sat on the mount of olives He described for His disciples the signs that will precede His second coming. He said those days would be described as “perilous”. A time in which the love of many will be waxed cold because of the increase in evil, persecution and wickedness. A time where evil and wickedness would be running rampant. Are we there yet?

The sadness in having a “wax cold heart” is the heart wrenching fact that it is also prevalent among those who confess Christ. Jesus is not saying that these signs are when the end will be, but He is saying that these signs are warning that the end is near and that we need to do a heart and soul checkup very quick. When will Christ return? No man knows the day nor the hour, only the Father in heaven knows that. Matthew 24:36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. Today is the day to get our house in order. The day to make honoring, reverencing, praising, worshiping and living for God a priority in our lives. Yes, it is time to change the course in how we have and are living if we have been living our lives without God being the center of it all. If Christ is not seated on the throne of your heart it’s time to make a change and do it in a hurry. No man knows what tomorrow holds for it is NOT promise to NONE of us so we can only hope for it. Life is fleeting and we do not know the number of our days so we must live ieach day with eternity in view. James 4:14 - whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. The good news to the people of God on today, those who have placed their faith, trust and hope in God alone through a personal relationship with Christ Jesus, those who have allowed the love of God to rule and reign in their hearts are the ones who have a future hope of eternity with God in heaven. Let’s listen to vs#13 of this text which states “But if you keep on being faithful right to the end, you will be saved. When we have committed our way to the Lord our God in unwavering faith in spite of persecution and all the evil and evildoers we are daily surrounded by, God PROMISE to His people is that one day we will spend eternity with Him in heaven for in our faithful obedience to Him He is saving us daily as He strengthens us for that GREAT GETTING UP MORNING IN HEAVEN WITH HIM.

This is what the Lord spoke to Ezekiel and every Preacher He has called to proclaim His Gospel in Ezekiel 33:8-When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will certainly die,’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man will die because of his sin; but I will require his blood from your hand.
