People often remove their wedding ring when they are angry with their spouse because they are having feelings and emotions that directly conflict with what the ring represents."

One divorce site has some advice on the ring dilemma.

"Whatever decision is made about taking off rings and what to do with them, remember that it may be as important as the decision to marry in the first place.
