He walks with a swagger and a stride, leans against walls and exerts a sense of control that makes you think he was born driving motorcycles while playing an electric guitar. She walks in and everyone turns to look her way. She could be wearing skinny jeans, a little pink dress, plaid overalls, or sleeve tattoos and dermal piercings. She would make a potato sack look hot. They have incredible charisma, the kind that makes you feel cooler just by hanging around them. It is hard to define cool but we know it when we see it. Here are 5 dating tips that are sure to make your date think you’re cool.

1. Set out to have fun

Don’t over think or second guess yourself. I know that this is easier said than done. Dating is a bit like bowling. Now, I am really bad at bowling so if you are good at it maybe you should replace this analogy with a different activity. Whenever I go bowling, which is maybe twice a year, I start off thinking to myself, I don’t have much experience with this so I’ll just have fun and not worry about how well I do. Then my first few turns are amazing. I hit strikes and spares. I begin to think, wow I’m not too bad at this after all. So I start to strategize: maybe if I move the ball this way it will go down the center and I will have better aim. I hesitate and second guess and roll ball after ball into the gutter. That is when I realize that my game is much better when I just set out to have fun and see what happens.

2. Look accidentally beautiful

There is no need to pile on the make-up or hair gel. Instead of hiding behind fashion, use it to accentuate your natural beauty. The best way to look accidentally beautiful is to feel beautiful.
