Mike Gibson 20:39 11 Dec 22 2 ½ years ago I knew my 17 year marriage was coming to an end - I had no idea what lawyer to use, but I knew I needed to find a good one as ... my ex was extremely conflict driven and had warned me multiple times that if we divorced she was going to make it as hard as possible and would refuse to just work it out between us.As I sat on my phone - looking at reviews for lawyers who were not in Utah County (as I worried my ex had already talked to any of the good ones to block me from using them) going through reviews and picked the top 3 contenders, called them and scheduled consultations. After speaking with each one - Brown Family Law (specifically Marco) was the only one that I walked away from feeling more at ease with the impending storm.Marco handed me off to Clay - who led me through a 2 ½ year extremely high conflict divorce. It took over 800 court filings, 3 different commissioners, 2 different judges, 2 different custody evaluators, 2 attempts at mediation to get it to completion (all of which were caused by delays by my ex). Not once during that time did I ever feel that I had made a mistake or second guess myself that I needed to go find a different lawyer. Clay was there - by my side giving me straight legal advice as well as just being a friend. In the meantime my wife went through lawyer after lawyer (4 lawyers in total) either being fired by them or firing them herself because she was not getting the outcome that she wanted.This all ended in a 2 day trial in December of 2022 - I cannot stress this enough. Not only was Clay able to get me what I was after - he exceeded it by getting me way more including sole legal custody of my kids - which went well above and beyond my expectations and I thought would only happen in my dreams.Anyone reading this review - I cannot stress this enough - Look no further, this is the law firm that you want to represent you.
