Do guys care about cellulite?

This is a common question from my clients: “Do guys care about cellulite in women?” Personally, I do not care much, as I know that it is a common problem. Yes, no cellulite is better, like no beer belly in a man is better, but I would not judge a woman by the amount of her cellulite, as I would not judge a man by his lack of a six-pack.

Most men don’t care much about some cellulite

And that applies to most men: they do NOT mind light/medium cellulite at all. But most men - rightly or wrongly - will not like severe cellulite. Like you, rightly or wrongly, wouldn’t like a guy with a huge beer belly. In fact, most men cannot even “see” your cellulite, as they can’t “see” your new haircut, dress etc.

Most women can’t see other women’s cellulite

Furthermore, most women do not even see other women’s cellulite, in the same way that men do not see their partner’s or other women’s cellulite. In fact, most women think that THEIR cellulite is always worse. And from my discussions over the years, most women do not come for treatment to compete with other women either. They just don’t like cellulite on THEIR skin, in the same way one does not like acne spots, dark spots, scars, wrinkles etc on THEIR skin.

Who wants to have blemishes? Sure, blemishes are not the end of the world but if you can prevent/reduce/eliminate them, why not?

It’s about body pride and having unblemished skin - which is quite normal So most women don’t like a little cellulite not because other women/men will judge them, but because they are body proud, in the same way they are house-proud, hygiene-proud or health-proud. It’s good to take care of your body, skin, house, hygiene etc. However, this changes with severe cellulite, where most women are afraid of being judged by others - men and women.

Some shallow guys judge a lot - but who wants to be associated with them?

On the other hand, a small minority of men do care - and judge - a lot, analysing not just cellulite, but every little bit of a woman’s appearance. These guys can reject a woman just for having a small imperfection - let alone some cellulite.

Clearly these are definitely the wrong kind of guys for ANY woman (and definitely the wrong kind of friends for any man) to be associated with - too shallow and fake. So why worry about an unpleasant person’s opinion?

Everyone has imperfections

Everyone has imperfections. The solution is not to lose sleep about them and worry what men (or other women) may think. The solution is to accept them, love your body as it is and after those two positive affirmations you can always try to improve those imperfections with healthy nutrition and exercise (which will also improve your overall health and skin appearance). And, for faster results, with a course of high intensity treatments and highly concentrated creams. But in any case, don’t try to date (or even befriend) the small minority of shallow men/women who judge women according to their cellulite.

What does a good GF do?

To be a good girlfriend, you have to be open and honest with your partner, supportive of their wants and needs, and willing to demonstrate your love and affection for them. Keep in mind that you should also strive to maintain your own independence to enjoy a healthy relationship.

If your partner is acting passive toward you, it doesn't necessarily mean they don't love you. It most likely means they are shy or introverted. Perhaps they have never been in a relationship before and just doesn't know how to act. Or maybe they just aren't the kind of person to shout from the rooftops but they still feel deeply for you. Talk to them about what causes them to act that way and. Perhaps they're expecting you to take more initiative, because you've had more experience with relationships than they have. Or perhaps it really is just their way and you need to get used to it.
