From the many surveys done across various platforms and the media, here are some of the common factors that have emerged…Though most women love their dark lipsticks, the slash of neon lip colour or oodles of lip gloss, most men say they are repelled by anything too heavy and dark. From dark red lipsticks, cherry hues and deep browns, there is an aversion to such shades among men. Though no reasons are cited in the surveys, it seems evident, that soft lipstick is far more attractive than harsh gashes of colour on the lips.Long hair has always been hugely attractive to men but the surveys have shown up other styles that are not too popular. Pixie cuts are reported to be a huge turn off, but with some of the most beautiful actresses sporting this style, this seems to be a strange preference. Buns, severe updos, bluntly chopped hairdos and wild curls are also not high on the popularity charts among men.As for eye makeup, it is best to keep it light too. Smoky eyes with smudged eyeliner are not a hit with men. Neither is silver shadow or gold highlights on the eyes. Though it is impossible to do away with eye makeup altogether, most men seem to agree that using liner, eye shadow and mascara with a light hand is the best option.Women however say that deciding what to wear is all about projecting what they are feeling to the world and loving it.
